Programme outcomes

This qualification meets the academic requirements of the New Zealand Institute of Building and provides entry as an affiliate member to the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Entry criteria

Under 20

  • 50 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above with at least 12 credits in each of English, Maths and Science.
  • Or achieved a level 3 or 4 qualification in a related field.
  • Or relevant experience.

International

  • 50 Credits at level 2 or above with at least 12 credits in each of English, Maths and Science subjects.
  • Or achieved a level 3 or 4 qualification in a related field.
  • Or equivalent relevant experience of an appropriate kind.
  • International students - minimum IELTS (academic) score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Local

  • Fee: $6,400

    Fees are payable annually. 

  • Student services fee: $220
