Electrical Regulations Exam

One-week block course. Refresher on regulations. For students sitting Electrical Workers Registration Board examinations or for immigrant electricians.

What you will learn

  • Refresh your knowledge of the Electricity Act and Regulations
  • Prepare for the Electrical Workers Board theory examination
  • Sit the exam on the Saturday following block course

Course Requirements

You will be provided with a copy of the Electricity Act and Regulations. However, you will be required to bring the latest version of AS/NZS3000.

Electrical Workers Registration Board

EWRB application forms need to be completed and signed for each exam or practical assessment (see documents below). Application forms will only be accepted with payment. Entries received within 14 days of the examination date will incur a late fee of $85.

  3. Your date of residency if you are a permanent resident in NZ.

If you have your NZQA National Student Number and/or a WelTec Student ID it will help us process your application faster.

International

To enrol as a international student you will need to download and complete our international enrolment form.

Once completed, you may submit the form and accompanying documentation directly to WelTec International, or go through one of our registered recruitment agents.
