Work towards becoming a qualified carpenter. Designed for those working as a carpentry apprentice. You'll learn at work and at WelTec. Benefit from practical tutorials, evening classes, workshop instruction, plus regular on-site assessment by our tutors. Learn alongside other apprentices.

What you will learn

  • Receive on-site work experience in timber floor framing, flooring and wall framing
  • Install plasterboard linings and thermal insulation materials
  • Apply levelling methods and set out residential buildings
  • Interpret construction drawings and prepare quantity lists

    This is an annual fee, which is reviewed each year.

  • Student services fee: $220
