Engineering Light Fabrication Skills

Gain an introduction to basic engineering fabrication skills. Complete a
small fabrication project. Perfect if you need to update your skills for the
workforce, or if want to pursue a new hobby.

What you will learn

  • Safely operate workshop tools and equipments
  • Carry out measurements
  • Perform heat treatments
  • Cut and shape a range of materials
  • Do basic GMAW, GTAW welding tasks

You'll need the following items for the workshop:

  • Overalls or dustcoat
  • Steel-capped safety shoes or boots
  • Safety glasses
