National Certificate in Engineering (Fabrication)

Specialise in welding and fabrication. Build on the skills gained in the NZ Certificate in Engineering or the Certificate in Engineering. You must be employed in a mechanical workshop. You'll attend night classes and block courses.

  • Learn to make, install and repair metal products for light and heavy fabrication and steel construction.

Must have successfully completed the Certificate in Engineering (Level 3) or have relevant skills and experience, and have access to engineering workshop facilities.
