Your crash course in robotics. Come along in the school holidays and learn to build and program a robot.

What you will learn

  • Day 1: Basic principles of mechanical construction and programming of a robot
  • Day 2: Printed Circuit Board design and manufacturing
  • Day 2: Learn electronic wire routing and Eagle CAD design software
  • Day 3: Embedded design. Use the Arduino platform to program and control objects
  • Day 4: Pneumatics in robotics – systems powered by compressed air
  • Day 4: Learn to control pneumatic equipment

Entry criteria

Under 20

You must be attending secondary school in New Zealand.

Suitable for year 11 - 13 students.
